The Herscher Public Works Department is proud to announce that our 18-hour Coliform Testing Laboratory is now officially certified by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
We’re now accepting outside water samples for:
- Boil order clearance
- New construction approvals
- Routine compliance samples
- Potability testing for home sales
- Home well certification and safety checks
Our Colilert-18 rapid test provides accurate results in just 18 hours, helping you get back to business quickly and meet regulatory requirements with confidence.
