Rate Schedule – Village Waterworks System

5-1-2:  RATES, CHARGES, ESTABLISHED:

There are hereby established rates or charges for the use and service of the waterworks system of the Village as follows:

Charge, Rate: The minimum charges for the use and service of the waterworks system of the Village as follows:

  1. May 1, 2022 through April 30, 2023: The first two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be eighteen dollars ($18.00) and for each gallon in excess of two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be eight dollars and ninety-eight cents $8.98 per one thousand (1,000) gallons;
  2. May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024: The first two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be nineteen dollars ans sixty-two cents ($19.62) and for each gallon in excess of two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be nine dollars and seventy-nine cents ($9.79) per one thousand (1,000) gallons;
  3. May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025: The first two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be twenty-one dollars and thirty-eight cents ($21.38) and for each gallon in excess of two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be ten dollars and sixty-seven cents ($10.67) per one thousand (1,000) gallons;
  4. May 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026: The first two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be twenty-three dollars and thirty cents ($23.30) and for each gallon in excess of two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be eleven dollars and sixty-three cents ($11.63) per one thousand (1,000) gallons;
  5. May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027: The first two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be twenty-five dollars and forty cents ($25.40) and for each gallon in excess of two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be twelve dollars and sixty-eight cents ($12.68) per one thousand (1,000) gallons;

And further provided that if at any time a meter shall fail to register the quantity of water passing through the same, the quantity of water consumed shall be determined and charges made on the average quantity registered during the previous six (6) month, as the person designated by the Village Board to read said meter may direct. No deduction shall be made from charges on account of leakage, unless authorized by the Village Board.

5-2-8: WASTEWATER SERVICE CHARGES:

Basic User Rate: The minimum charge for the use of the sewer system shall be as follows:

  1. May 1, 2022 through April 30, 2023: The first two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be twelve dollars and seventy-six cents ($12.76) and for each gallon in excess of two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be six dollars and thirty-eight cents ($6.38) per one thousand (1,000) gallons;
  2. May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024: The first two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be thirteen dollars and fourteen cents ($13.14) and for each gallon in excess of two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be six dollars and fifty-seven cents ($6.57) per one thousand (1,000) gallons;
  3. May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025: The first two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be thirteen dollars and fifty-three cents ($13.53) and for each gallon in excess of two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be six dollars and seventy-seven cents ($6.77) per one thousand (1,000) gallons;
  4. May 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026: The first two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be thirteen dollars and ninety-three cents ($13.93) and for each gallon in excess of two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be six dollars and ninety-seven cents ($6.97) per one thousand (1,000) gallons;
  5. May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027: The first two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be fourteen dollars and thirty-five cents ($14.35) and for each gallon in excess of two thousand (2,000) gallons shall be seven dollars and eighteen cents ($7.18) per one thousand (1,000) gallons.
